Can you guess the designer or term for the pictures in this post?  I have covered them all either in my Design Dictionary series or in my Designer Who’s Who series.

Generally, the images are ones I snapped as I cruised the aisles of NYC’s top antique shows like the International Fine Art and Antiques Show or last week’s Winter Antiques Show.

I thought this little quiz might be a nice diversion since you tell me your favorite posts on Decor Arts Now are the ones where you learn something. And if you don’t know the answers, no worries. I will provide them at the end with links to the original posts!

Drumroll, please.  Here are the answers: 

1. The red chairs are called bergeres.

2. Wendell Castle made that gorgeous table.

3. The cabinet is decorated with verre eglomise.

4. Edgar Brandt made the beautiful figural floor lamp.

5. Hector Guimard made the metal panel and the table. He is an important figure in the Art Nouveau period.
